Editor: Ken Harris

Before assuming the editorship of Jane's World Railways in 1997, Ken Harris was publisher and editor of an international rail industry journal, Passenger Rail Management and also acted as an organizer of conferences on topics relating to the rail industry, air-rail links and intermodal freight. His current Jane's responsibilities also include contributing to special studies and consultancy projects and working in close editorial collaboration with Jane's World Railways sister product, Jane's Urban Transport Systems. He also acts as a consultant to an international rail industry exhibitions company.

Earlier in his career, Ken served as publishing director for Jane's surface and air transport products, with responsibility for the general management and development of the list.

He is married with two daughters and lives in Brighton, East Sussex, UK.
